MARIST MODEL UNITED NATIONS XXXVII

Conference Structure

Security Council

The Security Council is a place for experienced and capable delegates to shine. Security Council delegates will start the conference alongside General Assembly delegates in an assigned topical committee to craft resolutions.

Later in the conference, when the General Assembly convenes to debate the resolutions, the Security will convene as a separate group to deal with an unfolding crisis.

The goal of the Security Council is to craft a resolution on this crisis that will then be passed to the General Assembly for debate.
